I wasn't here. I really don't know what happened. I don't know how it got started, but I do know that Mira was the ring leader. And after the display of how her mind works (aren't you glad you are not a bird?) I guess that I am not surprised. I almost feel sorry for people with "normal" children.
To make a long story short, I come home and Mira has created something new. "I'm calling it 'poo-ding'" she says with a wicked grin. "I'm going to see if Liam will eat it"

But Liam look excited by it.

I love your children.
I thought the bird poetry was inspired.
But I'm going to have to go breathe deeply in cold air for awhile.
Oh, Liam, darling boy: YUCK.
Oh gross! I haven't had breakfast yet. I think that I'll skip it this morning.
Why the chop sticks Liam?

Well "Snack Snack Sugar Lips" looks downright happy enjoying his poo-ding... I, on the other hand, am getting queasy LOL :)
Did Mira see the plastic-bag-as-pastry-pipe technique on television? 'Cause if she just made it up herself, she's a bright one! I remember all of the rolling of parchment I did to do cake decorating, and then, years later, I saw the zip-top bag method and was sooo angry!
We don't have a television. I have no idea how or when I learned about using the zip loc bag as a pastry pipe.
Awesome! It's a really smart way to go, and is so much easier than the parchment paper method!
Now - are you going to use it to actually pipe anything decorative? ;)
Hmm. Things have moved along from the Ziggy cakes that Mamoo used to make.
