Get the kleenex, face cloth, or what ever it is you need to wipe your chin.
I saw an ad on the back of an old Spin Off for Golding Wheels and spinning accessories. If you are a spinner, or an appreciator of beautiful things, go and look. The craftsmanship is amazing.
Flood up date: The powers that be say that they believed that the water may have crested, but it was too early to tell so to remain vigilant. We will walk down later and take a few pictures and I will see if I can get some information about the water level in the school.

Last night when I walked past the school a dude coming out said there was "very little" water in the basement. I hope that holds true!
Also, that wheel is art.
Also, also, HI! :D
Yeah, those wheels are really something. If I was heavy into spinning, I'd get one. (And I had unlimited $$$!!!)
Golding wheels, looms and accessories are so beautiful not to mention work great. I wove on the loom but could only afford a bobbin winders and I'm so happy with it. Tom Golding is so talented.
My heart goes out to you and your family. I am so sorry about the flooding.
Beautiful!
I'm guessing that you've got one that's a wee bit ... better at spinning, though, yes?
I just saw those this weekend at MDSW - they are INCREDIBLE. With a price tag to match!
