On Closer Inspection
I noticed that my lace had a dropped stitch about 4-6-8 rows back. So much for my progress. Sigh.
Don't tell me you're going to rip it back!?!? You can possibly just add a stitch somewhere, so that you don't have to worry with it. In the grand scheme, it won't show to anybody but you, and it'll help you to give it away if it's not perfect. :)
