They got into my qiviut. It was hanging by the door in the back shed. It was about a half a pound. It was gross.
I am amazed by the damage that can be done in such a short time.
The fine undercoat of the muskox is called qiviut. It is one of the warmest and most luxurious fibers in the world. It is eight times warmer than wool, lightweight, and finer than cashmere. It is hypoallergenic and will not shrink.

I hope your moth nightmare ends soon Jackie. Like yesterday.
What is a qiviut?
A Qiviut is a great scrabble word. :)
I think it is the shaggy hair of a Musk Ox though.
RIP Qiviut...so sorry Jackie!!

Sorry for your loss!

Oh Jackie, what a heart break! Moths is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy, let alone good blogging friends.
