Birkenstocks with new soles and foot beds! I've had the upper's for about 15 years now and they still look as good as new! I am ready for summer.Not much has been happening on the fiber front. A little spinning, a little weaving, and a little knitting. Check back later for some finished socks. Just in time for summer!

Our peonies are in the same place - I can't wait for mine to open - of course there are a lot of weeds in the bed and I haven't been able to convince Nick yet to do it for me....
You must show those little buds as they open! New shoes, happy feet...perfect.
I love the peonies, just hate the ants. We seem to have oodles of the little buggers this year.

You realize what some people don't ... that ants help to open the peonies' buds. Otherwise, they won't bloom. I love my peonies also! BTW, do you ever wear socks with your Birkenstocks?
I have never bought Birks but my sister is a faithful believer and has replaced her bottoms/tops a few times, she's quite sad when she has to buy a totally new pair LOL. Anyway I had to laugh when we were watching that old show, I think it was Password(?)... and the clue the guy hollered out was "those ugly lesbian shoes" and the girl answered Birkenstocks right away, my sister was not impressed but it was hilarious!
What's sad? That woman who shouted out on the game show was probably referring to my 7th grade art teacher ... who so met all of the conditions.
