We picked up a nice bottle of white wine. There was also a bottle of bubbly that looked good. And a couple of beers for good measure. And off we head to the cash. Where I spy this......

Yes. There was a surprising hint of melon in the beer. Melon beer! Who knew? Every sip I took was a new discovery. Every time I was surprised by the melon.
I couldn't drink a lot of these in one sitting (too weird) but it was rather enjoyable.

That is certainly one pissed off looking cat. And though I didn't much like the beer, I love the label.
And in the "strange but true" category, there are fans of a particular football team, the Saskatchewan Roughriders, who don those melon helmets by the thousands when going to rider games; see http://www.cbc.ca/canada/saskatchewan/story/2009/11/26/sk-watermelons-911.html
I just can't help but think of how sticky and disgusting one's hair would be after wearing a watermelon helmet on one's head for a few hours.
And that Melon Head beer is made right here in Fredericton, N.B. who knew in deed?

And worrisome. Melon... beer. I don't think that would quite work for most people... but the cat label is definitely worth it.
